Aurora, Colorado, April 14, 2016: Mental health speaker Jeff Zinn is pleased to announce he will be hosting a mental health presentation/support group meeting beginning on Monday, April 18, 2016. The support group is meant for those looking to start support groups of their own or anyone who feels they could benefit from Zinn’s teachings. Its focus will be on the recovery tools Zinn specializes in—the “Four Agreements,” originally created by author Don Miguel Ruiz—and comes on the coat tails of Zinn’s previous work with fellow health and wellness speaker Leo van Warmerdam. Over the course of two workshops Zinn conducted with Van Warmerdam, Zinn acquired an influx of new knowledge about Don Miguel Ruiz. Van Warmerdam had gained his personal experience with Ruiz as his former protege.
When asked about his goals for the support group, Zinn remarked: “I would like to be able to spread what I’ve learned among a new generation of peer group leaders. I’m hoping that everyone who comes to my group sessions will take away some new information and apply it to helping people coping with mental illness, whether it’s themselves or someone close to them.”
The group sessions will take place at the Aurora Mental Health Center beginning on April 18 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The group will ultimately decide how many subsequent meetings will be held. A maximum of 20 people may attend. Additionally, attendees can take advantage of on-site childcare services, should they need them
Anyone interested in attending should email Zinn at Jeff@JeffZinnSpeaker.com or call him at 303-856-3553.
